Who we are
Manc Padel is an independent guide to padel in Greater Manchester. For anything to do with your data, the contact is hello@mancpadel.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you fill in the contact form, the newsletter sign-up, or a venue or coach listing form, we collect what you type in, usually your name, email address and your message. We only get this if you choose to send it.
Information collected automatically. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are popular and roughly which area visitors come from. This data is aggregated and we cannot use it to identify you personally. If you decline cookies, analytics does not run.
Cookies
We do not use any non-essential cookies unless you accept them through the banner shown on your first visit. The only non-essential cookies we use are for Google Analytics, and they only load if you click Accept. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, and the banner will ask again.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site, mainly to gear like rackets, shoes and balls, are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set its own cookie to credit us with the referral, and we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is standard for affiliate links and is covered by the retailer's own privacy policy once you leave our site.
How we use your information
To reply to your message, to send you the newsletter if you asked for it, to set up and manage a listing you requested, and to understand and improve how the site works. We never sell your data, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site: our host and form handler (Netlify), analytics (Google), and an email provider for the newsletter once that is live. They only process your data to provide their service to us. We do not share your details with anyone else.
Legal basis (UK GDPR)
We rely on your consent for the newsletter and for analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and running a useful, secure website. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and listing messages only as long as we need them to deal with your request. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from a link in every email.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email hello@mancpadel.com and we will sort it. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Please check back now and then.
