The lowdown

Heart of Padel is the newest club on the north side of Manchester, tucked behind Eton Hill Road in Radcliffe on the site of the old Castlecroft Caravan Centre. It opened at the end of June 2026, built by Love Padel Ltd, who turned a caravan storage yard and a tired workshop into five courts and a clubhouse. For anyone in Bury, Whitefield or north Bolton, it's the closest proper padel setup without the drive into town.

The five courts sit under a semi-translucent curved canopy on galvanised steel frames, reaching around 9.85 metres at its highest, so daylight gets in but the rain stays out. It's covered rather than a fully enclosed, heated indoor hall, and low-level floodlighting is planned for evening play. There's a cafe, The Club Kitchen, to sit in afterwards, and coaching runs for both adults and kids from age six.

Because it's this new, treat this as a first look rather than a settled verdict, and whether it delivers on price and atmosphere is still to be seen once it beds in. Booking is through Playtomic, with membership described as coming soon, offering a 14-day advance window and 10% off alongside pay-as-you-go hire. The price per hour isn't published yet. Parking is a genuine plus: 33 spaces, including accessible and EV bays.

The courts

Low-level floodlighting is planned for evening play. No show court is mentioned and the surface type isn't confirmed.

Booking is through Playtomic, searchable as Heart of Padel. Membership is described on the club's site as coming soon, with early sign-up perks including 14-day advance booking and a 10% discount, alongside pay-as-you-go court hire. The price per hour isn't published on the club website or Playtomic listing at the time of writing.
