The lowdown

This is the original Padel Club site and the one that put the brand on the map in this part of Cheshire, just south of Manchester on the Wilmslow and Handforth border. It's a proper padel-first club rather than a bolt-on at a leisure centre: four outdoor courts with glass and mesh walls, floodlit for evening play, plus a clubhouse with a bar, cafe and social space where people actually hang about after their game. Google reviewers rate it 4.5 out of 5 from over 60 reviews, and the club runs regular social mixers, so it has more of a community feel than a straight pay-and-play box.

It suits a mix of players. Total beginners are looked after with free taster sessions and a coaching academy, families get a junior Padel Cubs programme, and there's a Society membership for regulars who want priority booking and a discount. The one thing to flag is that it's outdoor-only for now, so a wet or very cold Manchester evening will affect your booking in a way it wouldn't at an indoor club. Plans for four covered courts were referenced back in 2023 but we found no confirmed evidence they've been built at this site, and the group has since opened a separate indoor venue nearby at Handforth Dean.

Prices and booking

Exact pay-and-play hourly rates aren't published anywhere verifiable, so check live on Playtomic at the time of booking. What is confirmed: booking is via the Playtomic app or website with pay-and-play welcome and no membership required, rackets are free to borrow, and the Society membership costs £150 a year, doesn't include court fees, but gives 15% off off-peak bookings, an 18-day advance booking window instead of 10, and a clubhouse shop discount.
